Q: In light of COVID-19, is NLC 2021 really going to happen?

  • We are optimistic, as we closely monitor the COVID-19 situation, and we are working hard to ensure that NLC 2021 is an in-person event.
  • We are preparing for social distancing measures if they remain necessary.
  • We are shifting our registration process so that registrants place a deposit and are only charged the balance once we are certain the event will take place in-person. Details and specifics about the new deposit system can be found on our registration page. Register here.
  • Additionally, here is a link to the Indianapolis Marriott Downtown’s current COVID-19 precautions and policy.

Q: What is included in the registration cost?

  • Registration covers your entrance to the event, all main sessions, workshops, and more. It does not cover any meals, travel costs, lodging costs, or optional activities.

Q: How does the NLC registration price compare to past MidWinters?

  • Compared to MidWinter 2018 in Jacksonville, Florida, NLC 2021 pricing will be very similar (in fact, for some it will be a reduced price). See our registration page for more details on pricing.
  • Good news: There isn’t a cap on the number of Early Bird registrations. Anyone who registers and places their deposit between February 1st and March 31st, 2021 will receive the Early Bird price.

Q: What other costs should I anticipate?

  • Additional costs you should plan for are lodging, meals, travel, and any extracurricular activities you plan to do while you are in Indy.

Q: Why did we select Indianapolis?

  • Besides being a cool location to host our event, our team used several factors to evaluation a selection of cities, and Indy was our top choice for 2021. Also, we anticipate Indy to be a very drivable location for many Chapters, which helps save on overall costs.

Q: How do I get to NLC?

  • The Indianapolis International Airport (IND) is a 15-20-minute drive from the hotel. For those flying in, you can rent a car, catch an Uber (approximately $30), or catch the IndyGo bus, which will drop you off near the hotel. For those driving in, parking is available.

Q: Where and how do I book a room for NLC?

  • The NLC will be hosted at Indianapolis Marriott Downtown (350 West Maryland Street, Indianapolis, Indiana 46225). Book your room here.

Q: Who is invited?

  • NLC is designed to be the “family gathering” for ALL YFC leaders — Site Directors, Affiliate Directors, Executive Leaders, Coordinators, Board Members, Admin, Young Leaders, spouses, and any other leaders.

Q: What content can I expect?

  • Our content will be focused on movement inspiration, vision for our future, and spiritual formation and renewal:
    - Building Christ-centered community through corporate worship

    - Honoring God through celebration of ministry advancement

Q: When will speakers and bands be announced?

  • Announcements will be made on a rolling basis beginning in February 2021 through the spring. Keep checking the Events website and watching YFC Newsletter emails for updates.
