Hannah Hutton
Leadership Development Director - Central MN Youth For Christ

Hannah has been serving at Central MN Youth for Christ for the last 19 years in a variety of roles.  Her passion is to develop and empower others to live a mission focused life that points others towards Jesus. Hannah scores slightly high on the extrovert scale, loves the outdoors/adventure and being a mom to two teenage girls through the gift of adoption. 

Matt Hebert
Ministry Director - Central MN Youth For Christ

Matt Hebert values God’s unfolding plan for emerging generations. Serving in a variety of empowering roles for over 25 years--from camp counselor and adventure guide to event speaker to professional artist to youth pastor to ministry director--Matt speaks, writes, creates, and teaches to audiences on God’s goodness, the value of people, mission in community, adventure, and creativity. Having received degrees in studio art, education, and theology, Matt now lives one block from the Mississippi River in St. Cloud, Minnesota, with his wife, Sara, and two daughters, Olivia and Sophia, where he serves as Ministry Director for Central Minnesota Youth for Christ. Matt holds high his passion for Christ and his Body, his family, youth of all ages, art making, and outdoor adventure.

Michael Peters
Chapter Advancement Lead - YFC USA

Born and raised in the greatest city in the world, Cleveland, OH, I connected with Greater Cleveland YFC in 2006 shortly after a yearlong deployment in Iraq with the Army National Guard. I started out as a Campus Life Director and eventually became the Ministry Director for the chapter in 2016. Currently, I am serving at the National Service Center as a National Chapter Advancement Lead. I have been happily married to my beautiful wife Melissa for 16 years and we have three children, Sylvia(14), Ella (11), and William(9.) I enjoy playing basketball, running, and Hamilton the Musical.

Teddi Pettee
3Story® - Mission Advancement - YFC USA

Teddi’s been part YFC for 26 years and currently serves as 3Story® Lead in our Leader Formation Department. Her focus is helping all people in our mission experience personal, Holy Spirit-led transformation.  She is a trained and certified Spiritual Director, wife and empty-nest mom. Her experience includes training and supervising ministry leaders, creating content for relational ministries, speaking at youth camps and women’s retreats, and facilitating reflective retreats. Teddi lives in the Sacramento area of California with her husband Chris and attends Roseville Horizon Church.

Lynn Ziegenfuss
Leadership Development and Spiritrual Formation Specialist

Lynn's passion is to encourage, equip and empower followers of Jesus, especially leaders and women, to move toward spiritual maturity, emotional wholeness and Kingdom effectiveness. Lynn has been in and around YFC for 50 years, which started when she met Christ at the end of a Campus Life meeting in 1970 in San Diego!  Lynn has served with Youth for Christ for 40+ years in various capacities; Campus Life Director, Executive Director in the LA area, National Training Director and VP of Leadership Development at the Service Center in Denver. After a four-year break she returned to do Missionary Care for single women serving YFC overseas and taught Spiritual Formation at the Executive Leadership Forums. In 2007 Lynn became self-employed under the ministry name of “With Open Hands.” She currently has a spiritual direction ministry, serves on the faculty of Christian Formation and Direction Ministry, training others to be Spiritual Directors and is the Ministry Development Consultant to the Looper Foundation in Houston. Lynn now resides back in her hometown of San Diego, California, to be near family, great weather and cheering on her Aztec alma mater basketball team!

Chelsie Coleman
National Juvenile Justice Ministry Specialist - YFC USA

Chelsie Coleman is the National Juvenile Justice Ministry Specialist with Youth for Christ USA. She has been working alongside youth and families in crisis since 2009, in various roles including chaplain, case manager, and mental health counselor. Her areas of clinical specialty include trauma, addiction, faith integration, and of course teenagers! Chelsie also teaches undergraduate courses in juvenile delinquency and counseling, and continues to be a systems trainer. During her spare time, you can catch Chelsie hanging out with her dog Hermione or playing Dungeons and Dragons.

Gareth Unruh
Chief Ministry Officer - Denver Area Youth For Christ

Gareth Unruh first got his start in Juvenile Justice Ministry with Youth for Christ when his young people from his student ministry kept landing in detention. Volunteering since 2005 and now on staff for 15 years he has made it his mission for ministry leaders and staff to have the self-awareness and cultural intelligence  to come alongside youth in the most empowering and development way. He trains in trauma-informed care, attachment, developmental relationship framework, secondary trauma, and soul care.  Gareth’s wife, Jen, of 22 years, and 3 boys, Jake, Lawson, and Eli are his priority in his life, the backcountry of Colorado is their happy place!

Amber Kniser
YFC Camp Operations Lead - YFC USA

Amber was first connected to Youth For Christ in 1997 through the Campus Life program at her high school where she became a follower of Jesus.  She volunteered for Campus Life MS in Grand Rapids, MI while in college.  In 2004 and 2005, she served as a summer intern for YFC Camp.  In 2006 she started working full time at the NSC on the YFC Camp team and has served in various camp team roles since that time.  She also volunteered for Campus Life HS in the Denver area for a few years.  Amber lives in the Denver area with her husband Chris and two sons Jaxon (5) and Gavin (2) and is expecting a baby girl at the end of November. 

Myron Bernard
Training Specialist - YFC USA

Myron Bernard began youth ministry in 2001 and began serving with Tacoma YFC in 2009. There, he, had his life changed by the amazing young people who have shown him who Jesus really is. A proud father of four, Myron serves with YFC/USA as part of the training team.
